As my father was a photographer as well, the last thing I would like to be was a photographer. Nevertheless somehow I entered the royal academy of arts which was pretty boring and soon I started to assist several photographers in Europe and Australia. In 1999 I started my own company and studio in Amsterdam. Soon I worked for for big agencies & clients. The demands of the projects I’ve had gave me the privilege to work on different places in the world. I have been expanding my horizons far beyond what I ever imagined. It brought me to places from the extreme temperatures of the deserts of Africa, to the sub-zero conditions of the North Pole.
